East Pit Community Benefit Fund
The East Pit Community Benefit Scheme for Cwmllynfell is administered by Cwmllynfell Community Council. The community of Cwmllynfell is understood to encompass both the Cwmllynfell and Rhiwfawr Wards. The amount of money in the fund is £50,000. Applicants are encouraged to use the Scheme to attract funding from other sources. Match funding can help to draw down additional money for your organisation.
To apply for a grant you can download the application form from the Community Benefit Fund folder on the Library page. It is a Word document on which you can enter text. The boxes in which you enter information will expand so there is no limit to the number of words you can use. The completed application can then be emailed to the clerk, whose details will be on the application form. Additional supporting documents, such as your group's annual accounts, can be scanned and emailed as an attachment.
Applicants are advised to read the guidance notes before applying for a grant which are available on the Library page. This will tell you whether your group is eligible for a grant and what the grant can be used for.
The Community Benefit Fund Scheme will end as soon as the £50,000 has been allocated. There is no deadline for the submission of applications. The applications will be assessed by a panel made up Cwmllynfell Community Councillors, the local County Borough Councillor and the Youth Representative.
All successful applicants will be required to complete an End of Project Report to show how the grant was spent is also available on the Library page.
Copies of the minutes and agenda can be viewed on the Library page.
